On September 6th we photographed our first Jewish wedding and loved every minute of it! Sonya and Paul, as you can see from the photos are such a fun couple and totally head over heels about each other. The ceremony we found fascinating, learning all the traditions and being a part of the celebrations. The Bedecken was very emotional, when Paul saw Sonya for the first time, to make sure he was marrying the right bride! (This has it’s origins in the story of Jacob who married Leah believing her to be Rachel, her sister. So now the groom always checks first!)
The reception was at Cafe de Paris in the west end of London so we grabbed a few shots at Picadilly circus before heading in to the reception.
