This month is Lucy & James’s wedding which is taking place in Suffolk, here are a few photos from their Hertfordshire pre wedding shoot.
Pippa & David’s pre wedding shoot at Gaynes Park
Pippa and David’s wedding is coming up this month after months of preparation. We met them at their venue, Gaynes Park in Essex for their pre wedding shot and to have a look around in preparation for the wedding.

Lisa & Paul’s vow renewal at Fanhams Hall
Lisa and Paul’s vow renewal was an eventful day held at Fanhams Hall in Ware.
Paul and their son arrived in stye in a helicopter before the vow renewal ceremony in the Long gallery. We were so lucky with the weather, only a short shower then guests were able to enjoy the gorgeous grounds and we continued photographing outside until the next event – the meal.
Paul had arranged a surprise for Lisa during the meal which came in the form of a singing chef, waiter and event manager! Not staff from the hotel but the ‘surprise sopranos’ who were absolutely fantastic. They had the guests up dancing during their performance before the finale which left everyone speechless, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. A brilliant surprise that definitely won’t be forgotten.

Susan & Daniel’s wedding at St.Pauls
Early August we photographed Susan & Daniel’s wedding. Their ceremony took place at St.Paul’s OBE chapel followed by their reception at The Grange Hotel which was just across the road from St.Paul’s – perfect!
Lucky with the weather we were able to photograph their main group shot on the steps of the cathederal before heading over to the hotel for their drinks reception on the roof terrace overlooking St.Paul’s.
It was visible to see that Susan & Daniel had a fantastic day as they spent most of it laughing. A lovely couple and a memorable day, here are a few images from the day…
Alison & Peter’s Wedding in Sarratt & Latimer Place
Another gloriously sunny day for Alison & Peter’s wedding. Their cermony took place in a gorgeous little church in Sarratt before the reception held at Latimer Place.
It was a beautiful and relaxed day with friends and family, who shared drinks on the garden terrace overlooking rolling countryside. Close family took part in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony before dinner where the bride and groom kneel before their elders and serve them tea. In return they receive a red envelope containing a gift.

Sarah & Ray’s Wedding at The Ridings, Theobalds Park
July the 30th and one of the hottest days this summer, it was an absolutely gorgeous day and we had the pleasure in photographing Sarah & Ray’s wedding. Our coverage started with each of them getting ready before heading to the church in Enfield then to Theobalds Park for the reception. Sarah had the help of her two bridesmaids and her fab hair and make up ladies which all helped the morning to run smoothly. (I would always recommend using a professional for hair and make up as they not only make you look and feel a million dollars but they will ensure the morning runs to plan and you have time to have some photos before the ceremony looking perfect.)

Sarah looked truly stunning in her gorgeous Sassi Holford dress and the bridesmaids looked super too in their beautiful short dresses with flower sash. I think Ray was pretty impressed when he saw them all walk down the aisle. The ceremony held in Sarah’s old church in Enfield was realxed and personal and a memorable start to their married lives together.
The Ridings at Theobalds park was decorated beautifully with the most amasing floral arrangements on the tables, a mixture of candelabras and high vases filled the room with colour and looked really impressive.

Sarah & Ray’s pre wedding shoot in Kings Langley Herts
Sarah & Ray’s wedding was a couple of weeks ago at Theobalds Park but before I post a preview from their wedding here are a few shots from their pre wedding shoot with their boys!
Rebecca & Spencer’s wedding in Harpenden Herts
We had the pleasure of photographing Rebecca & Spencer’s wedding in our local town of Harpenden on July 23rd.
After a lovely ceremony at St. Nicolas’s church the bridal party walked through Harpenden high street and across the common to the Harpenden House hotel. Luckily it was dry as it was great to be able to walk the short distance to the hotel.
Rebecca & Spencer then had a buffet lunch, speeches, cake cutting and a relaxed afternoon before a their meal and entertainment in the evening. Friends and family had contributed to the delicious array of cakes that guests chose from.

Teia’s Batmitzvah
On the 17th July we photographed Teia’s batmitzvah celebrations. Uptown events did an amazing job of transforming the HAC into the garden of Eden, here’s a link to a time lapse of the set up, pretty impressive stuff:

Teia’s hard work was evident as her four part reading of her Dvar Tora was perfectly presented and interjected with the wonderful singing voice of Steven Leas. The evening was a fabulous production put together just four months after Teia’s brothers barmitzvah. Every detail meticulously thought out coming together to produce a symbolic, unique and entertaining event.

Stacey & Mark’s Wedding
On July 22nd Stacey & Mark tied the knot at Theobalds Park in Cheshunt. With the weather bing so unpredictable lately there was some deliberation about having the ceremony outside or not but the decision was made to go for it outside and it definitely was the right one! It was perfect, not too hot, and a beautiful setting for their very personal ceremony. It was a fantastic day and clear to see how happy Stacey and Mark are together, here are a selection of images from their day.
