Wedding shows and new years resolutions!

Hello and a belated Happy New Year to all our brides past and present and to those of you who have just popped in to have a look.  We hope you had a wonderful christmas and are looking forward to the year ahead.  An exciting one to those of you getting married! So new years resolutions….well appart from the usual get fit and shift the Christmas tummy (that goes for Ian as well!) I really need to get on the case with the whole social networking, face book and twitter.  I know, I am sounding like my parents now, really out of date!  So very soon I hope you will be following us on both and I look forward to receiving your tweets!  See I know all the lingo, that’s thanks to Fearn Cotton on Radio1 !

The end of 2009 was a hectic one as usual with completing orders and getting them delivered in time for Christmas, as well as moving house!  They say it is one of the most stressful things you can do and I now know why!  We are absolutely loving it and the added space.  The really fun bit starts now, decorating, buying soft furnishings and new furniture!!  So more space for us and for the business, yippeee!

We are really looking forward to getting together with our 2010 couples and get underway with pre wedding shoots.  As last year we are lucky enough to be photographing at some exciting places this year including St.Pauls cathederal and Hampton court Palace so keep an eye out for something a little bit different.  No overseas commissions yet this year but hey there is still time.

So, the start of the year is always busy with wedding shows and this year is no different.  We were at Fanhams Hall last weekend which was a great success.  We met some lovely couples, some of which we are meeting up with again soon, and hope to have the pleasure of capturing their day.

Our next show is at Hatfield House on the 21st February, then Tewin Bury Farm on the 21st March, and Pendley Manor on 25th April.  If you are visiting any of them do come over and say hi and have alook through our gorgeous Queensberry albums.  This year we will be adding to our collections the beautiful Duo album which is a combination of the matted and flush mount styles.  They really have to be seen to be believed.

If you can’t make it to the shows and would like to get together please either drop me a line or better still, call me for a chat.

See you soon

Emma
