Angela and Lee are getting married this September and we met up with them for their pre wedding/engagement shoot at Fanhams Hall in May.
Fanhams has so many photographic opportunities that doing a pre wedding shoot there doesn’t take away from the wedding day photographs.
We find it so important to get to know our couples before the wedding day and vice versa, so an informal photo shoot is the ideal opportunity. Being comfortable infront of the camera doesn’t always come naturally so having a practice before the big day is definitely worth it. We usually combine the shoot with a planning session to find out more detail about the wedding day and hear all your plans.
We think the best photographs are the natural ones, these occur without being forced and simply when the couple relax infront of the camera and start to have fun.
After the shoot couples can see the photographs at our studio a couple of weeks later, this is in the form of a slide show and is exactly how they will view their wedding photographs. We believe it is important to take time to edit the photographs with our clients to get a feel of what they particularly like so we can make the most of the often limited ‘couple time’ on the big day. Afterall it’s all about you, we are just there to capture it!
So when it comes to the wedding day, our couples feel comfortable with us and confident that we will capture their day how they intended and exceed their expectations. We hope you like the selection below from Angela and Lee’s shoot.
