Grace and Ryan’s Chippenham Park wedding was incredible. On the day we were blessed with blue sky and sunshine after an unsettled week. We had met with the couple several times before the wedding, making it feel as though we were photographing friends.
Having a pre wedding shoot is the perfect way to build a rapport before the wedding day. We first met Grace and Ryan at their pre wedding shoot a few months before the wedding. We soon discovered how photogenic this couple were. Plus completely head over heels in love!
We had a reccie of the venue to fully explore the photographic opportunities at this gorgeous venue. As the wedding was planned to take place outside, it was helpful to see the grounds and where everything was going to take place. Also check out the plan B of course! Luckily we didn’t need to use it as the weather behaved.
Ian and I arrived with Grace and Ryan for bride and groom prep. We are independent of each other in the morning so I can be with the bride. In this case, Grace and her bridesmaids were getting ready at Chippenham Park so I met them there. Ryan was getting ready in Cambridge so Ian met them there to capture the groomsmen.
The couple had spent months planning a truly personal and emotional ceremony. They had written their own vows and the ceremony was taken by a family friend. A close friend had written a song about the couple which she sang during the ceremony accompanied by playing the guitar. Moving, comical and heartfelt, such a unique addition to their already captivating ceremony.
An incredibly stunning and perfectly planned wedding day, a dream to capture…
Brimming with pride as Grace is walked down the aisle by her father.
The wedding party processed from the riverside followed by their guests, through the garden to drinks and canapes on the terrace.
It was a pleasure to work alongside Tom Harrington Films
