Over the Easter weekend we had the pleasure in photographing Emma & Alex’s wedding up at the Glasshouse at Combermere Abbey. It was exciting for us to shoot at a new venue and such a photogenic one, we were in our element!
We arrived the afternoon before to find Emma and her friends decorating the venue fo their Alice in Wonderland themed wedding. All the hard work really paid off as it looked fantastic, as you can see from the photographs below, Emma had taken every detail into consideration and it all tied together perfectly, they even arranged good weather!
The ceremony took place in the glasshouse which was full of friends and family who were brimming with excitement to see Emma, her Dad, the bridesmaids, flower girls and page boys appear from the fruit tree maze on the way to the glasshouse. It was an overwhelming moment for Emma and Alex, as well as many of the guests, as they saw each other for the first time, tears were brimming – all good ones though! After a gorgeous ceremony the day continued perfectly and ended on a high, with a Rod stewart impersonator and fireworks.
