Three years ago we photographed Fiona’s brothers wedding which led us to meet Fiona and then James when they were engaged and planning their day. It’s always a great compliment when we are asked to photograph the second wedding in a family and lovely to see some familiar faces on the day.
When I arrived at Fiona’s parents house where she was getting ready, all was very calm and organized and it stayed that way for the whole day.
Fiona and James, (well James in particular!) had spent many months planning for the day and despite the weather it went perfectly to plan. We were lucky enough to have a gap in the rain to photograph the family groups and some of Fiona & James outside the church in Stewkley before heading to Pendley Manor for their reception.
Below is a selection from the day. Friends and family, the full album will be online to view in July using the log in details on your card, if you need a reminder of the details please feel free to contact us.
Their invites were made using an image from the pre wedding shoot and the order of service a shot we took of the church which gave a really personal feel.
The room at Pendley was pink, pink, pink! with stunning floral displays on each table filling the room with colour. The chair covers created by Chair Elegance
Fiona & James chose a sign frame from their pre wedding shoot for guests to write their messages on during the day, it’s always a good talking point and a great reminder of who was there.
The magician was fantastic! He went round the tables during the meal doing various tricks and had the guests amazed as well as in fits of laughter.
