Fanhams Hall is one of our favourite venues to photograph at (we had our wedding reception here!) – no matter what the weather there are great photographic opportunities, both inside and outside. There are two main areas inside for the wedding to take place, the Great Hall, or the Pavillion. Or of course outside by the Japaneese tea house or on the lawn outside the great hall. The Great Hall is the older part of the building and offers floor to ceiling windows with wood panelled walls and a stunning fireplace, so if you want a traditional wedding this is your room. If you want a more contemporary feel, the Pavillion offers exactly that offering lakeside views and you can add your own theming. This room is flooded in natural light. In both locations guests can spill out onto the lawns where guests can wander through the impressive grounds which include, a Japanese tea house and formal sunken gardens with water fountain and whimsical walkways offering fantastic photographic options. If you are having a civil ceremony at the venue they have an outdoor license, alternatively you may use the Great Hall before it’s turned around for your Wedding Breakfast or the Long Gallery. Excellent service and a menu to reflect just that.
