Earlier this month we had the pleasure of capturing Sally & John’s weekend of wedding celebrations.  Their beautiful and intimate ceremony took place where Sally grew up in Oving followed by a drinks reception and meal in the village pub next door to the church. It was such a beautiful setting and despite the rain we made use of the rustic backgrounds Oving had to offer!

Sally looked stunning in her Caroline Couture dress and fantastic purple shoes that matched the vibrant and gorgeous bridesmaids dresses made by Sally’s mum.  Sally and John’s children looked absolutely adorable and were perfect models for the many photographs we took of them!

The venue for Sally & John’s Saturday night wedding party was Brocket Golf ClubThe Dream wedding company did a fantastic job of continuing the purple and orange theme into the decoration of the venue, giving it a contemporary, sophisticated feel.  The wedding cake made by Laura at Hundreds ‘n’ Thousands in Hertford was admired by all the guests as they entered the venue to the drinks reception.  It certainly was unique, what a fantastic idea for a help yourself wedding cake.

The evening continued with hilarious speeches, hot buffet, drinks, laughs with friends, a fabulous first dance (to Chuck Berry’s ‘You never can tell’ from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack!) Dad playing the sax, lots more dancing to the live band and all in all an incredible night.  Thank you Sally and John for choosing us to be a part of such a special celebration, we hope you like the photos.

Here are a few of our favorite photos from the weekend…
