Wow, what a week it’s been!  Just wanted to write a few words before posting some wedding images as we have been away shooting and have not managed to write in some time.  Since my last post we have been swamped with post production – a photographers dream!!  Since Caroline & Ian’s wedding, Ian had a couple of days shooting a conference in Brighton so a little break from each other.  They say absence makes the heart grow fonder and it’s so true.  Being husband and wife and working together we don’t often get any time appart and it really felt strange, we did both enjoy it a bit though!!  We then had a couple of days editing and meeting clients before Georgina & ben’s wedding at Offley Place on Saturday (photos coming after this!), such a fantastic day and a beautiful setting.

Sunday we packed our bags and headed for the Lake district.  As usual the drive up north clouded over but after a deluge of rain it brightened up and was beautiful for our two day stay.  The reason for our trip was not a relaxing break, although that would have been welcomed, but to teach budding photographers through the Annabel Williams studio.  We stayed with friends and their gorgeous two boys who sadly we didn’t get time to photograph, next time guys we promise!  After an exhaustig but fab two days we headed home, I’ll blog some shots soon.

How’s this for diversity, at 6.45am this morning we were photographing a BarMitzvah boys call up in Schul.  This was the third of three boys in the same family we have photographed and was a hugely emotional morning for their family and close friends.  It’s been wonderful seeing them all grow over the last 3 years and capturing to date the most important time in their lives.  On Saturday is the party so look out for the photos of that – the party is set to be very unique.

Anyway enough rambling, time to post Georgie & Ben and get on and clean the cameras ready for Lucy and Chris’s wedding – hope the weather stays good.
